Cauli Flower Pickle
Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 cup cut into small pieces
- Carrot 1 cup cut into small pieces
- Garlic 5 to 6
- Lemon Juice 5 tsp
- fenugreek (heat and grind) powder: 1 pinch
- Mustard Powder 1/4cup
- Oil to fry
- Green chilli 8 cut into pieces vertically
- Salt (To taste)
- Turmeric Powder 1 pinch
Procedure
- Take oil in a thick bottom vessel and fry cauliflower pieces, carrot pieces seperately for 5 minutes.
- Take it in a vessel.
- Add lemon juice, garlic cloves, mustard powder,green chilli, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder and salt together.
- Mix well. Keep it for two to three days mixing intermittently. After three days, it will be ready to eat.
- It will remain ready to eat for two days, thereafter keep it in refrigerator.
- Mix well and serve with rice , upma or roti etc.
